Our Vintage Images

The presentation of our vintage images requires that we answer the two most frequently asked questions.  Where do we get them and how do we restore them.  The answer to the first question is easy.  Years and years of collecting affords us to present our images to you in the best possible format.  We have albums, boxes and small sacks full of images that we have collected for over 40 years.  Our vintage images come from antique stores, via gifts from family members and in a couple of cases, bequests in wills.  Their original format includes calling cards, post cards and greeting cards.  How we restore them is not as easy to answer.  Many steps go into this process and since no two images are alike, the process varies.  Our first step is of course, to thoroughly research the image for copyrights.  You can be assured that every image we photograph we own and may legally present and sell to you for your own work.  Our images are NOT public domain images and the way we restore and present our images to you in the final photographed format is copyrighted to us.  All of the textures we use are hand painted by us in Photoshop and also copyrighted to us.   Please note, that at this time we can not take requests for personal restoration of images.  It takes many weeks to make the proper restoration of an image and our own images will keep us busy for years to come.
